...Alex Perry...RAFW 2010...

...Soo...last night I was working at RAFW for the Alex Perry and Ellery Show...I was blown away with the gowns and set up for Alex's show...It was simply put...breath taking...Back stage was non stop action...models in their chairs with 2-3 people doing their hair while someone doing the makeup...Napoleon himself going around and making sure the look was flawless for the show...each model had 2 dresses to help them into their outfits...a short piece and then a long piece...the long gowns were incredible...with over 1000 guests at his show it was well worth the 45 minute delay before the show started...doors were to open at 8pm...but didnt open till 830pm...with the show starting around 915pm...the hustle and bustle of directing people where to go...making sure that there was no one in their seats...ensuring that the G.A people were satisfied to be standing...even though they weren't...(it still amuses me to see them think they are so much better than everyone else)...my fav pieces from last nights show were the long lilac gown...and the organza styled dresses with the long back and short front...Samantha Harris...looked gorgeous on the runway...I felt bad for the ones who were struggling to walk in their heels...because from where I was standing...you could tell that they were probably the hardest pair of heels to walk in...they looked like they were about to snap...but over all the show was an HUGE success...amazement right??...
